Why Your Ex Is Watching Your Instagram Stories
That guy that ghosted you asks to be friends on Instagram. You should leave him in pending requests but instead, you say okay because…. dumb hope. Anyway, he never says anything but he’s always first to watch your Instagram story. Why is the guy or your ex watching your story? I’m going to break down three possible reasons your ex or the guy that ghosted you is watching your stories.
Bare amount of contact to keep the door open to getting laid
Watching your story is a way to be friendly. To show that they’re still invested in what you’re doing. But they don’t want to put in any effort. You see they watch your videos to keep the door open for a possible hook up. If you’re doing an activity that they can send a comment on or give an emoji when they’re horny. In the case of an ex, they might be keeping tabs on if you’ve moved on and with who. Checking to see if you’re happier without them.
Your stories are entertaining
Sometimes when an ex watches you it's because you're fun. They like seeing your shenanigans and interesting activities you do. It doesn’t mean they want to get back together. In the case of your ex, they might miss the fun parts about you and can relive them through Instagram stories.
It was an Accident
Stories flow into each other on Instagram stories. You’ll be watching a story and go into a rabbit hole of 5 stories before you know it. It happens to everyone. I’ve put my phone down walked out of a room only to come back and realize I’ve watched 20 Instagram stories while I was gone. Take your ex or former flame watching your story with a grain of salt. If it bothers you unfriend them so they don’t get to see the awesomeness of your life.
The main point to remember in this is if they wanted to date you they wouldn’t have ghosted you. Plain and simple, don’t let them take up space in your mind because they’re watching your Instagram stories. You don’t want to be with every person who’s Instagram story you watch.
