Stay Home Essentials for Quarantine [2020]
What I bought from Amazon for Self Isolation
What I bought from Amazon for self-isolation. With this self-isolation, a lot of us are going to be spending a lot of time at home. These are the random items I bought to make it through social distancing.
Puzzle
I decided to get a puzzle with the sole reasoning being that I could drink wine while doing it. Let me say though. The puzzle I got is damn near impossible if you’re buzzed. For whatever reason, I got an intense 1,000 piece map puzzle. I got it in the hopes it would make me better at geography.
The New Paris
I had dreams of going to Paris this year. I don’t think it’s going to happen. In that case, I got this book The New Paris. It walks you through what Paris looks like now. While introducing you to the small businesses you can visit in different areas. I hope when this is over these places are still around.
The Modern Witch
These tarot cards are cool because they include images of women of color which I appreciate. That’s the whole reason I got them. I haven’t learned how to do tarot. I use them more for mediation and affirmation cards. I’ll meditate and then I’ll pull a card and read the meaning of it. I might figure out how to do tarot now though since I have time.
Kiss Nails
To stay looking fly I got somepress-on nails. I love these. I used them long before self-isolation. The best way to get the longest use. You file your nails, buff them and then run some nail polish remover across your nails to remove oil. Then use good nail glue and put these babies on. Depending on how much glue you use they will last you up to two weeks. I wanted to do these during self-isolation because I thought it was fun and keeps an element of normalcy.
Yoga Mat, Blocks and Strap
Right before this all happened I was doing pretty good at myyoga practice and going to classes. I decided during this I didn’t want to stop so I ordered the gear that I use in the classes I take. Now I need to find a good yoga YouTuber to follow.
Bikini Genie
I’m about transparency. I had a bikini trimmer that I had for years and it finally broke. I bought this one because I needed a new one and it seems that I won’t be visiting my waxologist anytime soon. So far I like this, a good tip is to remove the battery when you’re not using it so the battery lasts longer. This is not going to give you the look of waxing. But it will keep you under control if that’s what you want.
